What if labels like "goth", "nerd", and "slut" weren't around
People were just people.
They didn't need to be given a "title"? What if?
What if kids actually stayed in school to learn?
What if they didn't just use it for a place to pick up a date,
hang out with friends, or for another place to cause trouble?
What if they finally realized that they are the ones
who are going to shape tomorrow?
And right now they are doing a poor job of preparing for it. What if?
What if some parents quit beating their kids
and showed them the love they need?
What if some kids weren't molested anymore?
What if they had a loving family and positive influences to surrounded them?
What if the fathers stuck around and acted like real men for a change?
When will they care for the kid or kids they helped make.
Same for the mothers.
What if?
What if schools were safe again?
What if we didn't have to have cops at high schools all the time
and metal detectors at every entrance?
What if schools didn't have to be concerned about drug usage
or sales on campuses?
What if they didn't have to worry about students
walking in and shooting the place up? What if?
What if young girls saw themselves as creations of God instead of being fat?
What if young girls weren't anorexic or bulimic?
When will they love themselves?
When will cutting be a thing of the past?
When will guys be allowed to cry and not be called "gay" or "feminine"?
When will this whole "macho" thing end?
When will a man be measured by his strong faith and high morality instead
of his sexiness and his strength? How long will we have to wait?
When will Hollywood stop being such a bad influence
on society and on young people?
What if there were actually good role models in Hollywood?
When will movies get better, instead of having violence, sex,
and profanity all the time? When?
What if teenagers actually listened to what there parents said?
What if kids actually obeyed?
Can they restore the lost respect for authority?
When will abortions stop?
When will they realize that it's murder?
When will they get it?
How long does it take for them to realize that no one
should have the choice to kill?
What if suicides stopped?
What if popping pills and injecting needles
wasn't a craving for some people anymore?
What if alcoholics began to crave
The Word of God instead of alcohol? What if?
When will love be defined "agape"...period?
When will relationships have no strings attached?
When will marriages stay together? When will divorces stop?
When will children stop screaming when mommy and daddy are fighting?
When will "teenage lovebirds" save sex for marriage?
When will the love of the Bible be the love of the nation?
When will the government and society quit trying to censor my Jesus?
When can I stand on the street and speak His name
without the possibility of a police officer approaching me?
When will the Bible return to public schools? Same with prescribed prayer.
When can I say the name 'Jesus' on TV and they not turn away the camera? When?
What if race and skin color had nothing to do with anything?
No more KKK. No more NAACP. Everyone was just a person.
No more hearing negative things about Mexicans or Black people.
No more racial profiling.
No more forgetting the fact that God made everyone, each with a purpose
And it's not our choice to be prejudice against those who look different.
When will the world see that Jesus is the King?
When will the world raise a white flag and surrender to His Majesty?
How long do they have to live in their shame, their sin, their filth
Before they realize, there's so much more than this.
When will some Christians stop being afraid?
When will God's calling mean something to them?
When will they stop being selfish and get out of their comfort zones?
When will they live the Gospel instead of just singing lies on Sunday morning?
Do Christians think God has left them?
Do they think there's not a mission to complete?
You're being confused with the heathens.
When will the world see the difference?
When will some Christians surrender and be unashamed?
When will we be the revival of this generation?
How long is it going to take for the youth of this time
to be a revolution to the masses and not a revolving door?
When will church be something that's looked forward too,
not just another routine?
When will those who sing in worship with an empty heart
be filled with the Spirit?
When will some of us step up, lead the way for others?
When will all Christians be like Cassie Bernall
in Columbine High School, willing to die for God?
Are we anywhere near it?
He made us, saved us from hell though the death of His son Jesus
He walks with us daily, but we're not willing to die for that? But when?
When can we call ourselves Christians and it mean something?
Beyond the title and not just the significance.
When can you show the world, without words, who you would die for?
Who you represent? How long?
What if...?
When will...?
I don't know, you tell me.

and good is often found in the small things... sometimes very, very small things.
