driving on an empty road the sterio bumpin
nothing above us but stars
long drives in your car and late nights with you
the windows down in the middle of nowhere
softly kissing and laughing
long nights in your bed making love
the feel of your sheets brushing my hot skin
i can remember your lips
the touch of them along my thighs
the taste of them on my mouth
seducing me into your fantasy
i can remember the wind
the speed and urgency that it blew
i still feel it like a rush around us
the same wind that blew over us
riding on your bike on moonlit nights
i remember the feel of your body against mine
smiling at first light of the sun in the window
your soft breathing next to me
arms wrapped around me to keep me close
too soon you left me
left me too many empty nights alone
no bed to share no warmth of your embrace
you disappeared as quickly as the wind died
were you only a dream
breezing through my life to touch me once
i wonder where you are now
i wonder if i ever cross your mind
i remember you
