Of all my devils
Of all my little sins and wrongs
Of all the ghosts which haunt me
You haunt my lips with yours long after you were there.
Though you're by my side, my demon in disguise
The heavens rain down on our face.
They spit in distaste.
But like moths towards a flame,
I am drawn to your fire with a heat which I cannot deny.
We will burn, brother dearest, you and I.
Bells toll in the distance, ringing out our fates
Ringing in the new day
In which the sun will shine on us no more.
I love you, I love you, dear brother
But do you hear what they say?
We're written off and cast aside
As the tragic hero and the bloodstained bride
But they'll never understand
That we're all we ever had
Of all our sins, small or great
For this they condemn us
Seal our fate.
But our love, dear brother is white as snow
It's pure as angels, what do they know?
So I love you, my devil,
More than words could compare.
And if they're right, darling brother,
When I burn, then you'll be there.
We are drawn to the spiral, a lure we can't deny.
We will burn, brother dearest, you and I.
