Revision: No more bad limericks neither sad emo tripe

There is/ was a middle aged poet,
who suffered depression, you know ???.
He went to get treatment,
& survived not eaten;
today he writes bad poems,
but stow that bull-

Isn't it my write to be right but still wrong?
& if any thing I don't want to come off trite.
If it's original, still it's a thin sin,
to share anything not a la Derrida'.
gah! But--oh...

If you concur with me that I'm less than you had hoped for,
I'll tell you it's better than morose.
I write to recover a luuuuhhhver
cleaning my shmuck--
At least I'm striving ...

Author notes

ii dealing with depression, using humor and a traditional doggerel form.

Former stanza:

...

I write to recover
from a fighter to a lover.
At least I'm just a little bit rad...

As much of a wonderfully different and unique take on the contest as this was, I did ask for no end line rhyme

That said, thank you very much for writing for me, and with such a different point of view

Me, bad poet! Let me walk on fired coals and glass shards for you! I repent!

    Yes, be real

What a refreshing idea, to be real. And to do good for someone...what a novel concept.

Susan, please accept my sincere apologies for all hurts; let me do good for you my love

      Nothing new under the sun.

But still a good idea, methinks.

      Kiss kiss.
