Passion Fighting Patience

I'm thinkin up the perfect line...
I need to make you mine.
I'm lingering on those blue eyes,
as I resist those thighs.

I wonder if your moving lips
can be matched by those hips.
I'm fighting of what my hand begs,
to get to touch your legs.

I want to hear the way you breathe
when you are underneath.
My body hurts, burns, and aches,
for healing by mistakes.

I want to touch the skin you're in,
make you wonder where I've been.
I'm begging to touch those smooth curves,
and show what you deserve.

But I know that there is so much more,
that's what I hold out for.
I will have all that you can give,
I'll give each day I live.

I'm waiting 'till the moment's right.
I'm waiting for that night.
We will hold tight until daylight.
Until that day I'll fight.

Then you will know you are my life,
That day that I make you my wife.

Author notes

Waiting is hard. I promise it's worth it... I wish I had been told when I was a kid. There is only one time you get to have a first time. I wish mine could be on my wedding night.

I think you are right about this.
Some of it seems a little humorous
and I loved it but it also had
    a serious feel.

    This is a great poem,
    and great advice.
