DAY in and day out
my memories streak in
and sits softly
on his lovely lap
My dreams always
dance on my eye lids
sweetly cajoling my desires
My hopes always tightly
embrace my fate, with a pleasure, not to slip
Of late my love is not in her moods
and tries to thrash me to oblivion
with out a specific cause or direction
my thoughts and ideas combined, go wild now
My inner vision, with all fears
hears the sounds of a tap on the door.
My devoted love streaming in faith
readily answers and opens the doors
At every time and occasion
my ill fate alone smiles curiously at me
disturbing all my efforts to continue a sound sleep
Author notes
Fear knocked at the door
Faith answered
Nobody was there!
