Poetry Perfection

It's speech of the soul,
Truth, beauty and wisdom,
Caresses, heals, feeds our mind,
It rushes to release the spirit,
Poetry, my perfect art.

Author notes

There are three things to note:-
The last word of each line represents what I think poetry is and should be about.
I haven't used the same word twice.
Also its a poem about poetry, how cool is that?

I am really proud of this piece but please let me know what you think.

    Your words describe poetry in a unique manner. Poetry can mean a variety of different things to everyone when asked. So nice to see what it is to just one person. Thank you for entering. Best of luck to you.
