While you have dreams
you live with riches
weaving with magic words
as spiders' webs dance in sunlight,
and spinning fragile thoughts
that I would not tread upon
even if they glittered with gold.
Spread your dreams before me -
Be not afraid.
I shall honour them with delight.

A lovely write Mum. Very nice simile and metaphor. Good imagery, flow and tone. Lovely depth of feeling. Vivid descriptives. Good word choice, alliteration and nice assonance. Well penned and much enjoyed. Congratulations on winning Bronze. Well deserved.

"Spread your dreams before me, ... I shall honor them with delight"
OH I do love that idea as it touches delicately on Yeats' words.
While you have dreams, you truly do have riches. Sometimes we forget just how much wealth really lies in dreams and the ability to see beyond what lies right in front.
Your title is absolutely fantastic as the Lady's reply to the quote. How calming and loving a reply this is. I am just thrilled with this poetic delight.
A soft and beautifully presented poem for this contest. I did enjoy this very much. Thank you for such a pleasure. Best of luck in the judging. ~Pamela
