This painted a clear, vivid image. I saw the picture and it was just how I pictured the top of this tornado from your poem. It's interesting how you turned such abstract art into something physical and real.
It actually reminds me of Manet's Scream painting (or was it Monet?). You know, the one with blob head screaming with a tornado in the background.
I would maybe change "a rose at the head" to "a rose at its head" just to personify it more, but that's probably just me.
