Woke up today
From a vivid dream
It was me and you
And what we used to do
Alone I awake
A feeling I can't shake
Always there
I try to kill the pain
But it won't go away
And I know
If I erase the memories
Then my life was meaningless
My Sorrowful Trait
To Self-Medicate
I can't hurt you anymore
You've found him
Found Love again
But I can hurt myself
The pain is where the answer is
Face it
Do not chase it
Or try to replace it
Face it
The pain
Wont fade
This is the bed
I made
Don't Medicate
Or Try to eradicate
Really Contemplate
And Compensate
For the time I took from you
And the love I lost was true
Time to go outside
And meditate
on the next positive steps that I
will be taking
I will never win you back
I must win myself
Life is waiting.

I love the way you repeat 'Face it' Saying it to yourself. Lovely effect. I also liked the line:
'I try to kill the pain
But it won't go away
And I know
If I erase the memories
Then my life was meaningless
My Sorrowful Trait
To Self-Medicate'
Very Very Powerful Write, I loved it!
