Only in the cold,
did she come to realize,
that shivers were not,
the freezing of winds,
but seizure of her heart;
a forlorn comprehension.
She had long missed,
the glory of summer sun;
with charmed ignorance,
Basking lazily in the heat,
letting beauty and true warmth,
go blissfully unnoticed.

I really liked the first stanza, it had a certain hard hitting feel to it. Personally I thought the second stanza didn't quite match up, but was still unique and interesting.
