Priceless Occurrence

Your feet may swell
you may turn pale
you will become
a one food lover.

Your hair may break
or grow
it's up for grabs
just don't keep tabs

Sleep may attempt
to linger longer
days turn into years
overnight.

You'll all too soon
discover
that your feet is way
out of sight.

And after a while
you just won't care
which way your kitten went
Your time is gone
and you are spent.

You'll grow to hate your doctor
devil of doom
"Move it over, make room.
bend, bow, break, bake."
(command performance)
and you'll want to snap.

Your family, too
will wear you thin
that leaves your lone-time friend.
but, you're selfish now
and feeling like a cow
and you'll find it difficult
to pretend.

But, on 'that' day
the day of days
you'll roam the curves of pain;
deliver the package of delight
shed tears of happiness
dance in the light,
fantastic sight

Who knew?
that it would all be worth it?
God knew!
