A striking bird of the central United States, the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher is nearly unmistakable with its long forked tail and salmon-pink belly.
I am no poet, I did however enjoy my time spent with Google looking at all the great pictures of this wonderful creation.

The name of the bird can NOT be used in the poem, tital or authors notes. In the past, I held a daily contest of just identifing the birds, so many people complained that it was not fun when the birds name was right there in front of them.
