Now don't you worry
About the ache in your life
About your sad story
You're not going to accomplish much with strife
and I'm humbled to know all I can give you is a “sorry”
but here’s my simple advice
from a man who's knows how to be a simpleton
You don’t have to save a jetliner from crashing
to get a job at an airport
You don’t wait 'till someone dies in a lashing
to tell them you love ‘em ever more
You don’t have to find a four-leaf clover
to know they exist
And you certainly don't have to save Texas
to live a meaningful life
I'll clasp your right hand
My friend, there's many a nice soul on this planet
Let me lead you into the light
Just give me your warm embrace
So I can whisper, “everything is going to be ok”
I think you only need a friend who cares about you
You never have to think about impressing me
Anyone can be themselves around me
Look at the lighter side of life
In a heavy world
I see you’re already making progress
Just assure me you're going to take care of yourself
Jehovah will make it right, you know
Yeah, you know he's done it for me
I’m here to make sure it happens for you
