The Beach

The beach is so calm and serene
all you see is a beautiful scene
The sand that reaches into the sea
for us to run just you and me
The waves crashing into rocks so dear
sometimes there and sometimes here
To watch the waves roll in and out
makes you want to sing and shout.

You did a good job describing the scene and mixing it with what it made you wanna do! Good job!

Feell like I am walking along your beach

I really love this poem, as I have always lived close to the sea, but in Southport it hardly ever comes in close enough to see it, I miss it, your poem allowed me to feel the sea rolling in againand to see the waves and the white horses riding them, beautiful little poem

    I can picture this.

I feel as if I were standing on that beach while reading this. The serenity of the place comes out beautifully in your poem. A person could get lost in thier thoughts and dreams out there. You get the feeling of the boisterousness of the waves in thier playfulness. Your title states exactely what the poem is all about, and the last line make me smile when I reads it. Good poem overall.

I like this poem, i grew up at the beach. Honestly though I think it might be better if it didn't rhyme. It feels very sing songy.
