This was written for a friend who needs some serious help. She hurts her self for no reason (the reasons she gives are soooo stupid). She is just simply addicted and she needs to stop.

well i think this is a very powerful write. i am an ex self harmer and i know how hard it is to stop and how hard it is to get help. i was in treatment for 2 years. i dont think there is any stupid reason for doing it, it probably just doesnt make sense to you right now. but you have to know it is a addiction and its very hard to over come but it is possable. i was a self harmer for over 6 years, yeah i still have my struggles but ive learnt to deal with it in a more mature manner. if you would like to chat you can e-mail me sometime. singinggurl27@yahoo.ca..

I was a person with the same problem. The reasons may sound stupid, but something for her is going wrong. It may be far deeper than she lets you in on because she's afraid. Good luck with her.

Your friend has to come to the point where she wants to stop and is willing to get the help she needs. But you sound like you are a very good friend to her.
