Trespassers will be punished.
A word, a look, some instance
she will create disturbance,
don't dare trespass upon
that fragile organ she
locks beneath strong bars.
Encaged, she traps all feelings
and keeps well protected.
No harm will come to her heart.
Love only occurs in Acts and Scenes.
Real people, living in reality,
distance any ambition of romance. Instead
she strives to survive without
the air she never considered
could improve her quality of
contentment.
Author notes
I heard something years ago that "love is like air, you simply cannot live without it". I know it is a cliche and perhaps more romantic than people who know me would believe I could stomach! Somehow though it always stuck with me.
