A Waiting Poem

Earth revolves every year;
        Hope eases every tear
Another day ends; I’m stalling
        For love’s not here; I’m still calling.

Colors change every season;
        Life moves in every reason
Clock strikes twelve; it’s already morning
        But your love’s not here; I’m still mourning.

Water strokes shores in every wave;
        Heart skips faster in every rave
This lifetime would soon cease; I’m still waiting
        Your love, though it brings me pain, I’m wanting.

    the pain of longing is there...the smooth flow of words with rhyme and rhythm is very interesting to read...
