let the sky take me to the unknown.
I'm flying away my love,
the world is calling me to it's heavenly blue sky's.
don't cry my love I'll see you again
along this highway,
I've to go the sky's are calling me.

Thank you for the beautiful entry to my contest,
I really love the depth you have used in this wonderful poem
The take on the prompt is amazing and I like the feelings you have expressed I like how you say don’t cry my love I’ll see you again (I think this would flow better if you used “ I will”
and I love how you state that you have to go because the sky’s are calling you. My rules did state nothing more then an HM and I noticed you have a gold on this poem, it deserved the gold, as always keep up the wonderful writing, ~ Amy

I can feel the tug at the heart here. The emotion of loosing a loved one is well expressed.
If I might make a few grammatical corrections & suggestions:

Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy. You capture the feeling of the one leaving & the one having to let them go very well here. Thank you for this. Trust you'll do well in this contest!

It is hard to say goodbye to a loved one to get on a plane even if it is only for a couple weeks or so ...
