photos perched stately upon the mantle
reminding her of goodbye kisses
and returned hugs
she longed to embrace
her country home
smells of freshly baked love
bread rising and cup cakes
for precious hands
that lift her spirits higher than the moon
and she waits
by the evergreen hillside
where the fence
divides her hushed existence
and the rest of the world
peering through the looking glass
at a sight she breathes in
softly
among the daffodils
that grow wildly at her feet
the blue sedan
moving closer to her heart
inching forward
letting her thoughts tumble
back to when she held her baby boy
within her soul
and as she cradles visions of emotion
seeing his divine image
cupped gently inside the backseat
tiny fingers, little toes
born
to link another life
around her bracelet of completion...

I think this poem is stunning, but I don't see the connection to the photo. Maybe I am just missing it. Good luck in the ocntest.
