To the Virgin Blessed

My prayers you never fail
to answer
You do not abandon any
who call on you

No one can love the Son
and despise the Mother,
Any more than they can
despise the Son
and love the Father.

For all of us,
in His blood are bound
As family now.
And that blood, all human
did from the Mother come
originally.

My loving Mother, forget not
those who need you-
whether or not they remember
to call on you.
Your aid give always, please!

Many people do not see
that you are Mother
more than Queen.
Oh dearest Virgin Mary, please-
never abandon your children
in their hour of need!

Many Christians fail to understand
that God's answers are not
merely just yes or no-
but more often "Wait"
or "Not yet, my child."

This you know-you knew it
back then in your mortal life
That God works in mysterious ways
And your example, in Scripture,
does to us say:

Wait in the Lord and trust-
for you will see the day
when all His promises are fulfilled
and those that believe
and perservere on that day
Will inherit the eternal blessings
He reserved for His holy ones
On Glory Day.

This is truly a blessing of faith to any who
are willing to open themselves to these words
that are more expressions of heart. I can
certainly see why this reached-out to Marion.
It is a beautiful redemption of faith and love.

I am so touched by your poem, dear one ...
I am very attached to the Mother - She is guiding my path ... and manifests Her Love in very mysterious ways ... showing me Her Face in all that lives ... dwelling in my very own heart as Peace ...

I remember Her Presence in my own name : marion (little mary) ...

two days ago, I have received an image of Virgin Mary from a place of pilgrimage in spain, by a patient of my husband, I felt a "call" ...

I am very sensitive to your experience as a carmelite nun, a "dream" I have never been able to realize, although I am sure that reality is much less romantic as it might seem ...

I am currently living a contemplative life in relative reclusion ... in harmony and communion with Spirit ...

I am honored to meet you,

    marion rose
aka maa (meaning "mother" in sanskrit )

Dear Friend, I am not a Catholic, but can agree with what you have written here. As to your final stanza, it is God's message to us all. However, it does take me back to the cross when Jesus was crucified for our sins. It was there, that Mary saw the promise of God truly fulfilled, as also later the receiving of the Holy Spirit. I take note of your words in the author's note, and think back to those German nuns who left their family many years ago to come out to South Africa to teach and spread the Word of God. They are the true one's who I got to know intimately and who were the one's who first taught me of the love of Christ. As I read this poem, I think also of your ordeal, and pray that you will keep faith, heal and as you would know, caste all into the loving arms of Jesus - for He is our promise, redemption and Lord. God bless. Frans
