What will I do?

Nanna, your time came
For God to come and take you away,
But what I want to know is
Why couldnt he let you stay?

You were my everything
The one person I told everything to
The one person that meant everything to me
And now that everything is gone too.

From a small age
I admired you and your ways
Even when you were vexed
You shone like sun-rays.

Even getting bad habits from you
Was an absolute pleasure,
Because it meant I was more like you
The only ultimate treasure.

But now im sitting here teary-eyed,
Wondering whats to come
Without you in my life,
Without you in our home.

I miss you like crazy
Although I know you're here,
But just let me know you're around
Let me know you're near.

You always taught me to be proud of who I am
You always told me to smile,
But please Nanna just let me cry
Just for a little while.

My life just hit a turning point
A big jump in my years,
But I feel you there
I feel you in every tear.

So many words remind me,
Of what you used to be,
Happiness, pride, treasure and an angel
You really set me free.

So Nanna,
This poem isn't the best,
But it makes me feel better
And helps blank out all the rest.

All the hurt I feel that you're gone,
How we're missing you so bad,
But we think of the good times,
The fun times we had.

I hope you'll be my guardian angel,
Please look after me,
Because without you, angel,
There's so much I can't achieve.

You showed us what love was really like,
You showed us how to grow and be clever,
We'll never forget that smiling face,
Now, tomorrow, never.

[[Love you Nanna]]
