What if I died?

Would anyone cry
If I die?
Would anyone weep
if I sleep?
Would any-ones heart
be torn apart?
Would any-ones dreams
be as dark as mine seems?

Would there be an empty church?
If so my heart would lurch
Would there be laughs or cries?
I don't know life's full of lies
would there be a proper place
where they would set my darkened face?
probably some hole they dug
they think would fit me snug

Someday some futuristic people
would come over my body
there would be carved on my cheek bone
a tear shed by the dead
for never having been
properly at rest
My soul there it shall linger
Waiting wishing
there forever
that maybe someday they will find
this this crushed and hopeless body of mine

And so I ask yet again
will they forgive me for my sin?

Will anyone cry

Or if I die alone
away from all that hate
Or will they someday understand
it may have been a slight mistake?

Ever notice most of my poems end up out of boredom? cause when I get bored I think about life ... anyway . . . another cheesy poem! *I know its kinda whiny ... get over it ...*

    Wow that was not cheesy at all. Actually it was rather good. I like how it flows on with a little beat. Its supposed to be sad or whiny, but actually its not either of those. It goes on with asking questions, yet you basically give the answers, there for you are seeking to entertain, and you did a job well done.

    Nice attitude... I like your authors notes. You sound a lot like my bff when you talk here. She has an account here too. Great poem! It almost sounds like a song. I wouldn't be able to find music that fits it, though. I'll read more of your stuff again.
