"Hurting to Love You"

Hurting to need you as much as I do,
Dreading that fate will take the breath of you.
The light of day grows dim without you near,
I'm torn apart when you go away- I need you here.
Forever losing sense of direction;
What in this world is made of perfection?
Shuddering from angels' grace,
Using masks to cover my face,
I feel myself start to fall...
Without you it's hard to stand at all.
Swimming through ages to reach you,
Stretching fingertips over miles to touch you.
The night is cold and starless,
My body is weak, but restless...
Without your presence near.
Where have you gone?
I need you here.
Losing sight to understand reason,
Living in lies to get through the seasons.
Your shadow lifts up over the fog of morning,
And as I run out to catch you I ignore every warning.
Faking smiles to make it through,
No one knowing the love I hold for you.
Hurting to need you as much as I do,
Dreading what fate has in store for you.
Needing you... loving you... Needing, Hurting.

    i like this a lot..
apparently its too long for some contest...but its got an excellent build to it...by the end of reading it i was filled with a feeling of intensity and desire...
it builds and builds..a lot of work is very much like a plateau this one is all about a climb..
thats how it read to me anyhow..
    good work
