You are not here anymore
No longer laughter fills your mind
Your eyes no longer sparkle
And If only I could find,
A way to bring you back.
Oh gods, I miss you so
Why did you do it? Take it all away.
Ebbed away life’s great flow
They saw you hanging in the air
Dangling your life on a string,
We had missed you by a second.
And we could not do anything
Your life spirit, the way you were
Was more than anyone could have asked
We miss you now, more than ever before
And pray that you have passed
Onto a better place,
That you are happy and now free
That your eyes have cleared and you can feel
Exactly what you meant to me.
Never should it have come to this
For ends to come so fast
We were always there we loved,
Your right up until the last,
Second that you were with us,
And now we pine for you
For what you did, you shouldn’t have
So much more, you had to do
Author notes
For all those young people who have died in QLD and NSW whilst completing their studies. We miss you all. And for every person who has wanted to die, and felt the strength to live on.

Heartfelt and beautiful. Your words were moving. And your A.N. rang true to the core.
