Off the top of my head.
Yes, that is what I said.
Can't you listen, don't you hear?
The world around, with end soon near.
Can we listen to light?
Light that has shone so bright?
Maybe listen to the past,
becoming future lightening fast.
Hear the whispers in the dark.
Biting vicious like a shark.
Turn back from your sinful ways.
And look ahead to painless days.
All I say is with a whim.
Let not me drown from this swim.
Trudging through this blackened thought.
Sorrow, death it all has brought.
But soon it comes as a thief in night,
A kingdom sure to set things right.
With it's king and forty-four and one hundred thousand men.
Paradise shall be brought again.

Typically, rhyming poetry does not appeal to me. However, the rhyme scheme you employ keeps the poem moving along at a good pace.
Thank you,
