By Dawns Light
Many soldiers died
So many sad short lives
Not many cared or cried
Once a child now a soldier man
Fight for country hand to hand
The sacrifice many made was great
But was it too much
Sobbing and crying
screaming and sighing
Sons and daughters
all slaughtered
For what....ask the Generals
For they all survived
Gave themselves medals
And awarded the dead..bravery awards
Was it worth it
For are we really free?
By Dawns light
What has always been will always be
TOMORROW
No more Hero's just TV stars
Noone will remember their pain nor what they fought for
Let us hope we NEVER forget their loving soul ...the real sacrifice
