Tis said that flowers feel no pain when’ere we start to prune
And yet we’re told to make them grow we sing them all a tune
Now if they all need a happy tune to make them grow with verve
How do they develop a musical taste without an audio nerve
Now if they all have nerves as such it makes you wonder why
If they can appreciate a tune have they also learnt to cry.
