Brushing off moondust,
Broad petals stretch their sinews
And breathe in the sun.

A very nicely witten haiku. To be honest, I have never seen a haiku written with end punctuation. Even when I took the class. It was always lower case and no punctuation. Though that was modern haiku. I know I read in the shadow poetry that haiku can be all caps or all lower case. Good luck to you in the contest.
