Hard wood tables and shiny white floors
Solid blue walls and dull gray doors
Close caption security cameras
Three of four walls closed
Window to the left
Door to the right
Both will set you free
Just not tonight
Tonight you will type till dawn
Holding back a steady yawn
Such a pitifull sight
Working throughout the night
What would they say if they could see you now
Friends and family all watching you bow
Sunlight peeking over the hills
Kissing goodbye to the night.
You can hear them whispering as they watch
Such a strange sight he obeys the time clock
No more surf filled days of sun and life
Fading away typing into the night.
