Floral womb; Sheltered from outside world,
transparent flesh, growing stronger everyday.
Move my arms, stretch out wide, swim around.
Things seem a little cramped now,
Just lie here suck my thumb relaxing for magic
light get brighter, hear voices, what’s happening.
Wrapped in white cotton, smiley face, snuggled
tightly, Protected in a dome of sheltered love.
Soft skin, rope to pull on, days go on I can do more,
words I speak, mummy cries, sing my first song.

Oh how beautiful this poem is... kind of reminds me of a lullaby. You described the life of a baby in the womb with vivid imagery and emotions. A treasure to read! Thanks for entering & best of luck
