The Changing Of Seasons

Red ink flowed from the pen
anger, hurt, and numbness

Turning the page
wondering if it'll ever

change

a puddle appears
making the ink
smudge

As I started to write again
I blinked
because of the puddle
the ink color had changed

within seconds
I started laughing

the gloomy time
finally ended

so now I write

with another color

Author notes

The poem is inspired by the graphic above. I loved how the colors changed with the season.
It starts from the red ( last one on the second row )- anger, then as you can see her thinking and feeling angst, then the blue represents the deep sadness and tears, and then lastly the gold graphic representing hope.

This was a very beautiful and originally crafted take on the picture prompt. I really like your ideas, something very different and full of colour. I like the idea of her writing in different colours during the different seasons and each colour represented by an emotion.

Thank you for your lovely write. Best of luck & thanks for entering
