Think Spring!

Think spring!
Crocus peeping
Pink and purple bonnets
through the snow.  Then comes daffodils
and jonquils waving their hats in the breeze
saying "Hello, Sunshine! What a
great day today!"  Now the
grass needs mowing...
Think Spring!

P.S. I love the background to this...it is a bit distracting, but you've picked great font colors so it shows up well.

    Hi debilynn,

You've presented such a cheerful poem, I can't help but smile and feel warmed by it. Unfortunately...it's also a sad reminder that our lawn mower's engine needs replacing after dying last summer, and we have a huge yard to mow! Thanks so much for entering such a lovely rictameter in my contest. Best of luck to you Hon, and I hope you're feeling better...

    Good luck and God Bless,
    s
    ~J.

I absolutely love the background on this poem. The colors are beautiful and so springlike. The poem is wonderful and terrific and I love the way you add that touch of reality about lawn needing mowed. great great job on this one.

    Hi :)

This is really a fun write....great Rictameter with perfect count.....the background is a tad distracting, but nonetheless, a very cheerful and fun write indeed!

Lots of Imagery pouring through your lines and it made me feel like I just came into a beautiful picture of Springtime, watching a flower parade :)

    Nice job!

Good luck to you and your entry,

    ...God bless you,

    Bear ~
