A Ship without sails is a nonsensical dream,
to be loosened from the wind,
Fulton's Folly runs on Steam.
If Man were meant to fly, God would have given us wings,
Two Brothers and a Kite,
who could imagine such things.
The first day, God said: let there be light! and it was so.
Edison made us Gods,
with every switch we throw.
All we have to fear, is fear itself, said Roosevelt,
With Oppenheimer's deadly toys,
dreams of Peace, like Cities, would melt.
Vernor Vaughn Braun had a vision of going to the Moon,
JFK and: "These things we do"
Let's do them, and do them soon.
Take all of the Knowledge, Man has ever learned,
place it at my fingertips,
Gates and Jobs, their fortunes were well earned.
Study these great people, and I am sure that you will find,
"I can't"
is the lame excuse, of a lazy mind.

Author notes
Naaahhh, no notes, the last time I passed a note, I asked the little girl in the front row if she would be my girlfiend, she just turned and snarled her nose at me, I have suffered this rejection all of my life, I still love her, but it is unrequited, so sad,,,sob!
I hated the third grade.

LOL. . .is this who I think it is? . .(laughs most evil).
Welcome to my crazy new prompt game!
Here's what I have for you:
"The Reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the Unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the UnReasonable Man."
George Bernard Shaw, (Reason).
No restrictions, no word limit.
Take your time, we've plenty.
I want to know if this doesn't work for you. Please let me know as soon as you can.
Have fun with it. If you don't know the author, have a look at his history, he was an extraordinary man.

Jin
