Is a big black pot
and in this pot
is a bunch of gold
and with this gold
I will buy books
because I think
reading is important
and a gift for everyone
so I would use my gold
for books that everyone could enjoy
and if there is any left
I would buy a pack of gum
Thank you

this poem is cute, i like how you say that you know that reading is important, and that you would buy books for everyone to read and enjoy, then i like how at the end if you had any money left you would buy a pack of gum, thats so random, you are a great writer, keep it up and good luck in the contest, -Amy and nathan8

Awww... this is so sweet... most little girls would want to buy toys and such, but instead you choose books. That would be my choice as well since books can take you to so many wonderful places.
