Sweet Goodbye Warm Hello

White sands sparkle
and reflect in glazed eyes.

God exhales his love
and a warm tropical breeze
softly caresses her.

Lithely her golden main,
from shoulders lift.
Ten thousand ballerinas
take flight in chaotic pirouettes.

Lulled is her mood.
In rhythmic waves,

the sounds of the sea
pluck the heart strings of her soul.

Gently, she is pulled from a shell
no longer needed.

The peace and tranquility
of God's blanket,
gently swaddles
Heavens newest Angel.

Very peaceful and serene even though it's sad.

    Peace and tranquility
    God's blanket.
    Gently swaddles
    Heavens new child.

This is an awesome poem, with lots of imagery and warmth.

    Comforting

It's comforting to know that she's cradled in God's blanket of love. Sorry for your loss. God bless and good luck in the poetry contest.

This poem is well written and the image your words give is wonderful. The peace I feel in this poem is such a big comfort to me in these times, and I can only wish that God has accepted my father the same way.

I thank you for taking the time to enter this contest, many blessings.

I'm sure God accepted your Father in an appropriate and totally loving and peaceful way. His soul rests in the arms of Love.

    Beautiful write here

In the journey home and God holds them ever so gently the new life truly begins and as we look back at the shell once our own a tear falls for the ones so left behind and the ones left behind cries for the loved ones taken .
