To burning summer
she pauses
to catch her breath
as if it had left her
Alone
Today though
she knows
to sit and wait as it comes
rushing back into her
Realization
If we can’t hold water
she won’t chase air
breathing in space
the sky
Her own

wow, you have captured a moment that set me in awe, that grounded me in reality far too often, in the hazy lazy days of summer,
when something finally hits home, and you know it's over, and you sigh with relief and just enjoy the tiny space nature has granted you in the universe, and let all else wash away...excellent poem, of course it had to be yours, none equal~~Artis

That's right ^^. It's also about holding your ground and a little piece of sky (having confidence and hope)... despite the circumstances... whether alone or in the excruciating heat (in the face of obstacles) as it happens to always be "summer" here in Bangkok and we only appreciate the sun to an extent. Thanx a lot 4 reading & commenting! <3

yes, if I understand the meaning, what we need will come to us and does not need to be chased, as the summer surely returns
'If we can't hold water
she won't chase air
breathing in space
the sky'
