These tears they fall,
in times of happiness and sadness,
remembering our fallen soldiers,
our sisters and our brothers,
These tears they fall,
when we hear the heart breaking,
when the words I love you and forever
become let’s just be friends and nevermore
These tears they fall,
from bellies full of hunger
and being so young and not knowing
where your next meal will come from
These tears they fall
from the deep valleys of depression
when one thing leads to another
and all you can do is cry and ask for a helping hand
These tears they fall,
from a child in his slumber
calling for his mother
trying to get his every need met
These tears they fall,
when we receive that dreaded phone call
"they are gone"
"there was nothing we could do"
These tears they fall,
to show pain
to show love
to show strength
to show bravery
to show sadness
to show happiness
to show everyone
and to help everyone feel what we feel

That was exactly what I was looking for. An explanation of as many reasons as possible. It's not rhyming, but it is worded really well. Each part was nothing but reality, too. It's sad that it is, but it just is. Thank you for entering and good luck.
