the first touch with sparks flying in all directions
the first kiss that took my breath away
I couldn't find any words to say
except that I loved you.
Memories that are coming back to me now
as you were my first love
my heart was given to you
my love was all yours
I didn't know what to do
never knew what to expect
all I knew was this was something I had not yet experienced.

firsts of many things I never knew.
Seems like yesterday
when it was so many years ago

you have captured the rapture in commonly used expressions that paint a picture of the sweetness of that time, we only get one chance at first love, the rest are simply loves to follow, although they do come first in our hearts no matter when they occur,.
