With such fairness through the halls she treads,
Teasing me with the touch of her milky white hands
Leaving me torn with feelings of lust,
The want to take her, to embed
Her with my seed of powerful strands
Of royal blood-lines, the good and just!
But woe I dare say, my manhood could not touch
her beautiful, velvet, epithelial duct.
Only the tongue could embrace that sacred immoral place,
Excitement overtook her and burst upon me.
It was over for her, she would not in turn please me
Anger and sadness swept through my clouded mind.
She took what she wanted, not even the real
Left me standing here, like a prize won, like
I was hers to command.
Author notes
Well...I tried...I will be editing and working on this more but for now there is a start! Thanks for putting up with me changing my mind! lol
She dwells with Beauty-Beauty that must die;
And Joy, whose hand is ever at his lips
Bidding adieu;and aching Pleasure nigh,
Turning to Poison while the bee-mouth sips:
Ay, in the verytemple of delight
Veil'd Melancholy has her sovran shrine.
Though seen of none save him whose strenuous
tongue
Can burst Joy's grape against his palate fine;
His soul shall taste the sadness of her might,
And be among her cloudy trophies hung.
(Ode on Melancholy st.2-3)

Interesting
Very sensual and vivid. Might want to think of alternative to having to lines end with me. But a good effort. Thank you for sharing.

-
over took = overtook
in-turn = in turn
also there is a bit of punctuation missing... nothing major, just a couple periods.
other than that, I like this. it has a halting grace to it, and some kickass imagery. I see i have some competition, eh?
Im up for the challenge!
best of luck to you in the contest.

Alright Miss PICKY!

I had to resort to My old love(r). . .
Mr. John Keats?
Oh, it's a little long, but it's so-o worth it..
"And she forgot the stars, the moon, the sun,
And she forgot the blue above the trees,
And she forgot the dell where waters run,
And she forgot the chill autumn breeze;
She had no knowledge when the day was done,
And the new morn she saw not; but in peace
Hung over her sweet Basil evermore."
(Isabella).
How does that work for you?
I'll be here for a bit, let me know. I was looking for ANOTHER verse by Keats, but for some reason, it's moved
She dwells with Beauty-Beauty that must die;
And Joy, whose hand is ever at his lips
Bidding adieu;and aching Pleasure nigh,
Turning to Poison while the bee-mouth sips:
Ay, in the verytemple of delight
Veil'd Melancholy has her sovran shrine.
Though seen of none save him whose strenuous
tongue
Can burst Joy's grape against his palate fine;
His soul shall taste the sadness of her might,
And be among her cloudy trophies hung.
(Ode on Melancholy st.2-3)
I know, huh?
MESMERIZES!
Enjoy my man for awhile. He's all yours

I GET NADA?
LOL
Come on, I'm about to blow the roof off AP, I HAVE BEEN struck with a brand NEW PLAN!!!
I need an entry soon, I will be closing this contest after one more entry, and need the space.
Do you want me to find you another quote?
Please let me know, thankya!

Jin -
Welcome to my contest. I have no idea who you are, or what type of category you want. With that freshly said,
I will pick out something now, and if you DON'T LIKE IT, or CANNOT GET ANYTHING to happen with your muse, please let me know. I have pages of stuff to choose from, and my tastes may not suit you.
So here it is:
Yeats:
"When shall the stars be blown about the sky
Like the sparks blown out of a smithy, and die?
Surely thine hour is come, thy great wind blows,
far-off, most-secret, and inviolate Rose?"
No restrictions, no word limit. Please take your time, we've plenty of it.
Happy writing, and I look forward to reading your entry!
JIn
