I thought of the title before the poem
I saw how far away you were on the map
It reminded me of the lonliness at home
The painfully reality stung like a slap
Just another sad thought brought to life
Bitching about how unfair it can be
It reminded me of the constant strife
That has surfaced and followed me
I had something that can't be replaced
Your smile invaded my mind and forced me to smile
Although I tried, your memories couldnt be erased
My love for you was there all the while
It is amazing how we ended up so far away
Who would have guessed this is how it would end
You are in my mind wandering around every day
I think instead of the end, it's just about to begin
