considering the truth
that you are indeed
that which is human
that which is tainted
and imperfect
Human!
isn't it disturbing
just the word causes pain
made in the image
of something great
but we chose the path of wretchedness
we choose
thank God for that
thank God for choice
because with choice
we have the ultimate power
the power to become righteous
this petty insolence
is a must
it is an essential part in ones life
to truly appreciate the brilliance
the brilliance of that which is the greatest gift of all
you must experience the curse that is embedded in its treasures
question not your religion
but question yourself
do you really believe?
fret not if you don't
for question can only lead to answers
and to find the right answers
to find the right answers
is not to say that you will become a believer
but I assure you of one thing
that you will hear
you will hear the answer
the answers you longed for so long to hear
life is the easiest thing to predict
something you can always be sure of
is that it will always be unpredictable

So incredible! I love this poem! I liked the format and the thoughts conveyed..excellent! I love how you mentioned not to question religion, but yourself..a lot of ppl wouldnt catch that but you did, especially in the 5th stansa. absolutly brilliant! My favorite part is the last stansa..so much information and intensity of thought. So beautiful as all your work is. I hope you win in the contests!
