What sort of flower are you?

Can you carry tears in your pocket?
Or your heart in a locket?
(For now, I’ll stop it…)
    But I’m dying to know

Sometimes we say the darnest things
Our words go up as if with wings
(Then comes wisdom with the healing it brings…)
Who has the panacea “to go”?

Maybe souls pass like highway paths
Immersing in poetic baths
(Her kindness shields from drafts)
    Play me a ballad maestro

Angels may pass by a flowers’ spontaneity
She writes from her soul…let it be
An ‘Angelflower’ has blossomed (by God’s decree)…
And these thankful fingers affixed a bow

  • So beautiful and elegant. Great dedication to such a lovely lady. Filled with such tenderness and weaved with a touching and beautiful heart.

Oh...lovely. A weave through thoughts, skirting nature in it's path. The whisping of a word-wind fluffing the petals of a flower friend in a dear caress. Of course Jet would love this. Very special and very nice...alby

Thank you very much alby...this is a wonderful comment. Thanks for reading this. Your words (to me) add more flavor to this page...perhaps dulled by time's passing by? Wonderful feedback here...

See! You have people wanting you to write for them! And that isnt good enough to convince you that you are a terrific writer?! You are far too modest dear poet!
