my rhythm

let me have that wild note
like the wind or a dog coming home,
who didn't think anyone would be walking the ditchside today
oh but it isn't more adventurous with the neighbors now
holding leap edges instead of fences
around acres to see

I bandage my tangles
with a snap hood extant from a down coat
among ponchos present
extended for future
but I didn't sprain my song with a clip
clippety clop of wiggling toes in wooden sandals
and smocked waist skirt getting expanding diaphragm anyway
with throat not feeling thirsty in flexible neckline
breathable beat around hunger

I see horses and a neighhhhhhhh is from me,
as my voice turns and perks animals
but no one's worrying who's out here
then I'm afraid it resembles a rumbling
of jet spraying its own weather
careful lift by birds or landing to grasshoppers
along transition back to people
ah not needing a baby memmo but mamma
as I express foreign language feelings

blowing going back my wrapped cap
is a parachute paralleling exploring,
no excited ground because just playing
but I'm going to write bye-bye
suctioning across my mouth
muffled but I pull it down
as though to speak about a baby boy I didn't
have as I rough this weather
with snowflakes going in my eyes
n on my tongue tastes tears, yes sucking icecubes
sectioned to smelling wet earth like fire
I could fall into with shaken caution

I can sing because I anticipate
more than patience can come

This is definitely your own rythmn and it seems that you live it and make it yours and see it in all you encounter which can become a part of it. . .or at least that's my impression
