Candlelight Baths (acrostic)

Comfort from the world
Always relaxing
Nestled deep under the bubbles
Dreaming of fantasies
Lonesome is a great feeling
Embracing my heart to the core
Lavender scented candles burn on the counter
Imagining the bubbles will never fade away
Gently washing my body
Hot water flowing across my skin
Taming the pain I have within

Bubbles of lilac scent
Across my chest
Touching my soul
Hair flowing in the water
Simple things, make my life worth living

It's nice that people are discovering classic form poetry. Acrostic is one of them and I never get tired of that You should try a Shadow one, it's challenging and worthy when the task is done with justice
Anyway, I miss these kind of baths since it's been a very long time. I like how you let the reader pull into the scene that's set in this poem and every detail gave a nice touch for the reader's sense of, well, touch and the poem's structure as well
You've got some spellcheck to do, though with the 8th line: it should be will and the 12th line should be scent ~
Overall, a lovely poem this is, all right

The words chosen here made me feel calm to say the least. I never thought a poem could make me feel relaxed until now. I really want to go take a bubble bath. Thanks for entering

A chilled glass of white wine would greatly enhance the setting. A fine piece of work depicting that peaceful easyfeeling. Thanks for the entry and happy trails.

This is one of those "little things" in life to which I so often referr to. Those things that we need to take time to enjoy because life passes us up so quickly. Great write and keep up the great work

I would love a candlelight bath but I can't light candles in my place. I think you have a typo. Just a small one, "touching my sole" sole shoul be soul.
