Hand in hand they walked
along the beach one day
he got down on his knee
and asked her if she's stay
Breathless as she was
she managed a joyful yes
he took her in his arms
kissed her and slipped a ring onto her finger
Such innocent love as this
captured in a moment
Written in the sand
Carved upon the rocks
So as the day departed
and dusk did settle in
there they were hand in hand
a new life ready to begin.
