Leap Year.

This 2008 is a leap year.
It is, in this case, for more than years four.
Not the most frequent of occurrences;
But a somewhat unusual event,
The time does augment.
Changes, right rarely, does the calendar;
To its auspices many do refer,
For 12 months career,
Has it there any other compeer?
Steering well-worth clear of inferences.
Better, than of these, is the data sure;
As also secure.
From the time the current year commences,
It can so occur,
That so said reports may so thus concur.
