Put Pen to Paper

Pen to paper
is alomost anachronistic
since pecking the pad
or say, the key,
is the thing to do for you
who has
something worth a delivery,
what needs to be said
or simply
saying what fills empty time slots;
just get the message across
of what is in your heart
and mind,
spill out inner thoughts
for public consumption,
but
do not leave out the poetry:
after all-poetry
is precisely that:
poetry: the real you
on paper-oops,
I mean on screen:
all-poetry...
kindly do not dispute
the verdict of the Prevailing Muse... DW

Author notes

If any true poet is ready to come forward, this prompt should do it... DW

True fact, Dear Voices; however, some eyes require spectacles as they are deficient in vision, hence true may also become an indeterminable variant to contemplate; what say you?..DW

i dont consider myself a "real" poet or any other sort of. i dont think that it is important to strive to be a good one. i just write. if someone else wants to call it poetry, well, there are worse things to be called i suppose.

an indeterminable variant again would depend upon the one doing the contemplation.as we all set our own variables.
