My pencil scratches
the eraser rubbs
this is how the drawings are dubbed
by sloshing and twisting the lead makes a line
soon to be made into a dancer sublime
i know she is not
but to me she is real
her dancers steps lithe
the music genteel
as these lines stop and the shapes cease
Her notes and music will be her release
