There is an abundance to see

Down sometimes, old and tired
Sometimes my years catch up
But the child inside won't let me go yet
to that place where I can rest

O'er the years friends and enemies
I've made can but claim one thing in kind
that I'll always be the same.

There are still the rainbows yet to come
Smiles to be made
But more of that is painted in grey
I've grown tired of the Internet game.

I fight Neopets and others
for a mere pittance of $5.
They froze my account and slandered me
emberrose1954 shot down with Internet's flame.

An anecdote still comes of this
You see the phoenix rises
If they can steal five measly dollars
from an old lady like me...

what is stop them from doing the same to you
just a little old phoenix...me

The grandkids are most appalled but look up to me
So I must fight for a few dumb bucks
My birthday present to me

Neopets feezes people at their whim and will
but it is the Internet that will bring them down
for search engines are still free

Beware and ban a greedy site
for they take your money and run.
Lesson learned and what they forget
is there are people like you and I

We choose not to roll over and sit
People we are everyone.
Consumers right...net or no
Must be fought for hard and long

But often I miss people here
who have a brain in their head
In the end it is we who win
Enemies or friends...

I think of you often from sun to sunset
You are with me in my heart
If you don't see me, remember me somewhat
and remember I fight for rights
